Cruise business: More ships coming

By the end of the coming year, 25 new cruise ships will be in service. Another 19 will come into service in 2020 and 20 more in 2021. In total: 64 new cruise ships in 36 months. The average size of each ship is 97,726

tons, average passenger capacity is 2,440 guests (with double occupancy) and total cost of building stands at 66.5 billion USD. There are 36 different cruise lines building in 17 shipyards.
