In a commendable display of resilience, the Grand Bahama drydocks was back in operation within weeks of the most severe and devastating tropical hurricane

to have visited the country. Hurricane Dorian visited The Bahamas on September 1 and submerged much of Greater Abaco, among other islands in the country.

Three weeks after the tragedy of immense proportions, the Grand Bahama Shipyard was up and ready, and by September 30 the Taipei Trader was back at the number 3 dock to continue work, while Carnival’s Ecstasy was scheduled for a week later. —
