The 22nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Port Management Association of the Caribbean, June 26-28, was the largest such gathering in the history of the Association. Registration for the three-day event numbered 141 people, including representatives from 18 of PMAC’s 19-member ports.
The record-breaking 2019 AGM was hosted by PMAC Associate Member Business Supply Source (BSS) in association with Broward Vice Mayor, Dale Holness and the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention and Visitors Bureau. It was held at the Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort, Florida, US.
The south Florida shipping community was also well represented as were PMAC associates and strategic partner organizations, including the American Association of Ports Authorities (AAPA), the Association of Caribbean States, the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS), the Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency (CDEMA), the Inter-American Committee on Ports – Organization of American States and Caribbean Marine Environment Protection Association.
